Welcome to a unique place, as unique as California

The Land Of Fruits And Nuts features California's famous sun-dried fruits and nuts blended into gourmet goodies and 'California Shakes.'

We do things a little different around here. We pack our milkshakes with award-winning ice creams,

not ice milk or powder base or puffed-up with air. We don't add water or water based anything to our mochas

- we use award-winning coffee ice cream and fuel inject 'em with espresso syrup,

and our smoothies don't have any ice, just non-fat vanilla bean yogurt, sun-dried fruit and Kern's real fruit nectars.

The Land Of Fruits And Nuts opened in the summer of 1994 in the English Village next to the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California.

Specializing in California's famous sun-dried fruits and nuts and unique gourmet gift packs. In the summer of 1996, however things really changed dramatically

with a move aboard the Queen and also with the introduction of a new kind of ice cream treat dubbed 'California Shakes'

These milkshakes are made with lots of award-winning ice cream and our vast array for dried fruits and crunchy nuts as well as

the world's best loved chocolates. Now after numerous appearances on network television, glowing articles in major daily newspapers

and great reviews from major HOLLYWOOD stars, - we're world famous*

The Queen Mary has had quite an illustrious career, both at service at sea, and now to millions of visitors in Long Beach.

Upon her Maiden Voyage in 1936, was considered the grandest ocean liner ever built. During her heyday, many considered her the only civilized way to travel.

With the outbreak of World War II, she was transformed into a troopship overnight. By the end of the war, "The Grey Ghost," had carried more than 800,000 troops, traveled more than 600,000 miles and played a significant role in the victory.

Retired in 1967, she was purchased by the City of Long Beach and has remained an icon for the city for over 40 years.
