CAN YOU PLEASE HELP?

Forget about One-In-A Million, Acacia Rizzo-Cugno is One-In-Two-Million.

In March 2002, after years of being misdiagnosed, Acacia Rizzo-Cugno was diagnosed with

PRIMARY PULMONARY HYPERTENSION

-an extremely rare, incurable blood vessel disorder of the lungs where the pressure in the vessels that lead from

the heart to the lungs is so high that it is life-threatening.

Despite trying every available medicine, including years of an extremely expensive experimental medication,

nothing has worked to control of her condition.

While most 16 year-olds are getting excited about driving and prom dresses,

Acacia and her mother and dad have just experienced the trauma of

DOUBLE-LUNG TRANSPLANT SURGERY

She's currently staying with her mother in a Pittsburgh hotel near the Medical Center

continuing  to recover from this major surgery and some recent complications.

For current updates on Acacia's condition visit her dad's daily blog. Click below

Her family's non-insured medical expenses continue to mount.

Acacia’s mom has had to stop working to take care of her, so the bills keep compiling, at home as well as at the hotel.

Please consider helping Acacia in her fight against this disease and her battle with this devastating double-lung transplant.

Would you please consider making a donation and help give this young woman a chance at a new life?
